FESTIVAL UPDATE!

 Each year we solicit for donors to help defray the cost of the Bands that we hire for the entertainment during the Festival. We have eight Bands: We ask for $1,500.00 to be a Sponsor for a Band. If you, your family or you know a Business or friend who would be willing to help us in sponsoring a Band, please contact the Parish Office. 

Place an Advertisement in the Festival Ad Book! We have been doing this for ten years now and each year’s copy remains in the parish archives for generations to enjoy years from now! Place an Ad for your Business or from your family; in Memory of a deceased loved one or a Congratulatory message for the 110th Labor Day Festival. A full page: $400 / half page: $250 / quarter page: $150. All Ads are in full color. For more information, please call the Parish Office. Thank you. 

RIDES! RIDES! RIDES! Yes this year we will have carnival rides and amusements back for the Festival. It is not easy to find Carnival Companies that are willing to come into the City of Cleveland and are available on Labor Day weekend. This year are very fortunate. We will also begin to sell “Wrist Bands” in advance for the rides that will be at the Festival. Details on prices and the number of rides will be coming soon. 

 MANTLE for St. Rocco – we are accepting monetary offerings that will be placed on the statue of St. Rocco and the other saints in procession on Sunday, September 1st . The statues in the procession are as in the past years: (Cloak/Mantle) St. Rocco, (Ribbons) St. Anthony, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, St. Potito and St. Nicolo. If you wish to give to have your offerings pinned to a specific statue, please place the offering in an envelope with your expressed directions in or on the envelope. Donations for the flowers on the floats – the floats are decorated with a mix of silk and live flowers. If you would like to donate for the live flowers, kindly place your offering in an envelope with “Floats” written on the envelope and or the name of the Saint you wish to honor. 

PURCHASE IN ADVANCE!!! Plan now and purchase your children/grandchildren’s “RIDE BRACELETS” in advance before the Festival, Labor Day weekend. We will have 15 rides on the property, and the Bracelets on site the weekend of the Festival will be $30 per person with unlimited use for one day. YOU can purchase the Bracelets NOW from the Parish Office for $25 per person for the same unlimited use for one day of Rides at the Festival. See one of the Friars or contact the Parish Office. Your purchase in advance will give you a ticket which, when turned in at the Festival, will be redeemed with a Ride Bracelet.
